Kindly note that these parameters basically are dictated to First Cabin from the hoteliers, ground operators and airlines that all tour companies deal with in arranging such plans.
Cancellation received 90 - 60 days prior to departure will be assessed a $300 per person administration fee.
Cancellation received 60 - 30 days prior to departure will be assessed a 25% penalty of total cost. Should airline tickets already have been issued, all of the refunds for ticking will come directly from the airline.
Cancellation received less than 30 days prior to departure will be assessed a minimum of 50% of the unused portion of the trip and will be limited to the amounts recoverable. Should airline tickets already have been issued, all of the refunds for ticking will come directly from the airline.
Cancellation after commencement of the tour will be assessed a minimum of 75% of the unused portion of the trip and could reach 100% of the tour cost. All such refunds will be limited to the amounts recoverable. Should airline tickets already have been issued, all of the refunds for ticking will come directly from the airline.
All refunds for land costs will be made directly by First Cabin. All airline refunds will be made directly by the airline. There can be no refund made for less than three full consecutive days of unused accommodations and/or occasional missed meals, sight-seeing tours or any unused services of scheduled transportation. If any airline should cancel its flight and thereafter arrange ground transportation, there can be no refund by the airline or by First Cabin for any difference between the costs of transport, ground versus air.
First Cabin will do its utmost in attempting to recoup your funds, however, the hoteliers and ground operators generally will adhere to this formula. Please read over our cancellation policy very carefully. Traveler insurance companies provide a variety of options from which a traveler can choose to allay their concerns about loss of funds due to a cancellation.
Traveler insurance should always be seriously considered before booking any tour to protect against loss of funds due to cancellation, accident, illness or for the possible loss or damage to luggage or personal property. First Cabin cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.
Luxury First Class or the best hotels available based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with a private bath. Members occupying single rooms will be charged a single supplement. First Cabin encourages one to compare the luxurious quality of a First Cabin accommodation with all others offered within the marketplace. It is for certain that one will not find any other company offering any better property for accommodation and in practically every case much less when it comes to choice of hotels. There is a huge difference where one might put their head to pillow and after a full day of touring, nothing can be better than arriving at the finest of hotels.
Breakfast and lunch meals are included, beginning with the first breakfast meal after arrival overseas and ending with the breakfast meal on the last day of the tour. Meals are by set menu or table d'hote. Most often, the daily breakfast meal will be an elaborate buffet with eggs cooked to order. Lunch meals will be enjoyed at the more popular restaurants within the various cities or towns. Room service is not an included feature on tour.

Transport between airports, hotels, and all touring will be provided for in private autos, motor coaches and vans (with air-conditioning where available and seasonally required). Airport transfers to and from the hotel are included if travelers arrive at or near the time for the group flight arrival. Should a traveler choose to arrive and or depart at a time other than what has been announced for the group arrival and departure time, transport to and from the airport will not be an included feature of the tour. First Cabin will assist the traveler in arranging transportation as required.
All gratuities are included for the tour services as depicted in the itinerary, including guides, hotel staff, porters and the tour manager. At times, any one of these individuals may provide services to a traveler beyond what is customary during the course of the touring experience. In those instances, a traveler is welcome to show their appreciation by providing a gratuity for those services one might consider beyond the norm.
While on a custom tour, travelers are left to their own discretion regarding gratuities provided for service rendered to them while on tour. A First Cabin travel advisory will be provided prior to departure, which will outline the guidelines for tipping while on tour.
First Cabin will handle the transportation and porterage of two standard suitcases per person. The airlines will allow you to bring, free of charge, 44 lbs, excluding personal hand carries taken on the aircraft. At most airports, porters are not allowed within the baggage area, thus it may be required that a traveler assist by pushing their luggage cart to the immigration and customs area. In addition, on some flights to remote areas, where smaller aircraft are required, the weight allowance may be reduced to 20 lbs. First Cabin will advise well beforehand whether any such flights are part of the tour itinerary. Should a traveler have luggage that is in excess of the weight allowance and should that excess cause a penalty to be assessed, the payment of that penalty fee is the responsibility of the traveler.
Airfare to and from the gateway city, which will always be the first city overseas at which point the tour commences is not included in the tour price. Nor are airport taxes, visa and passport fees, inoculations, personal necessities, including laundry, wine, liquor (except on special occasions), cover charges, excess baggage charges, health and accident insurance, room service and any other item not specifically listed as included.
First Cabin Travel Corporation is only an outside agent in securing hotels, transportation and other travel services and in no event shall First Cabin be liable for a failure by any person or any company to render any transportation, kinds of lodging, or other travel services to be provided on the tour. All hotels, transportation and other travel services are provided to tour members subject to all of the sundry terms and conditions under which they are offered to the public generally. Neither First Cabin nor its agents shall ever be liable for any personal injury, property loss or any other damage to any tour member sustained on the tour whether arising out of or is incidental to the tour program or otherwise. The acceptance of the initial service provided under the tour shall be deemed an acceptance by the tour member of all these aforementioned conditions.
The airlines concerned are not to be considered or held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not aboard their aircraft. The passenger tickets in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between airline and the purchaser of these tickets and/or passenger. These tours may be sold in conjunction with any and all IATA carriers worldwide.
The state of California requires registration by all companies within the state who offer travel for sale. Restitution for actual losses suffered by the consumer in certain instances can be applied for by residents of California. First Cabin Registration Number: 2016168-40
